Most of us remember this from our schooldays. Breaking a stick of chalk in two usually yields a chalk surface which writes more freely. 8. On markerboards, use the right pens! Pens need to be non-permanent and erasable! Also, the thickness of the pens needs to be appropriate for the size of the room and the maximum distance from participants' positions.

Get yourself introduced. Sometimes, your client may be willing to provide an introduction to the person who is about to facilitate a training session. You may well need to provide your client with succinct briefing notes to keep this introduction to the areas that you wish to be covered!
