I am an academic, educationalist, filmmaker and cultural theorist. I work for the democratisation of media and cultural practices.  We need cultural production for expression, creativity and communication. We need media literacy to combat extensive systems of disinformation and the skewing of public agendas around a very limited set of questions and answers. We need education that makes people think critically. We need theoretical resources that develop analysis of the existing social, political, economic and cultural relationships that are detrimental to individual and collective well-being.  On this website you will find some of my contributions to these goals.
